David from Koonwarra wanted steel to build his cattleyards. He had his design drawn out so we sat down together and worked out what steel was required:
First off we sourced a top of the range Galvanized Cattle Crush along with newly designed Galvanized Cattle Ramp, height adjustable, with rubber fittings to protect from damage caused by reversing trucks
- 115x 42x 2.0 Gal RHS, 600+ mtrs flat sided oval rail ( anti bruise ) used to rail all five holding pens, the forcing yard and all the way past the crush to the loading ramp
- Heavy wall 65 x65 RHS posts, set into the ground to provide great strength, we were even able to source good quality downgrade which saved him $1000’s !!!
- 89x 89x 5.0 corner posts, bigger posts for perimeter stability
- Expanded walkway mesh built along the race to enable drenching from above with ease
- Heavy duty 6-bar Galvanized yard gates, fittings, slam catches
- Purlins to roof the working section of the yard keeping the rain off his investment
And to top it off we provided post caps for all the rail and posts protecting them from the elements and eliminating sharp edges that could potentially injure cattle
